Jeff Martin is a Senior Vice President of Wedbush's Advanced Clearing Services. He has been with Wedbush for 33 years. Mr. Martin began his tenure with the company working as credit manager, and then operations manager before joining the Clearing and Technology group. Today he specializes in business development for high frequency trading firms, black boxes and both retail and institutional broker-dealers. Prior to Wedbush, Mr. Martin was an entrepreneur and owner of two small consumer goods and services companies. He also worked for Shearson Hammill and Kleiner Bell, both in Beverly Hills and attended University of Texas with an emphasis on business. Mr. Martin's wide range of professional experience gives him a breadth of knowledge from all sides of the clearing business. When he's not in the office, Mr. Martin is out on the field, serving as Little League President and team manager of local soccer teams.
Sean Thompson is a Senior Vice President of Wedbush's Advanced Clearing Services. Mr. Thompson joined Wedbush is 2004 and specializes in business development with an emphasis on high volume trading / institutional / retail clearing. Previously, Mr. Thompson spent two years as a Financial Consultant at Smith Barney, and five years as a Regional Director with National Planning Corporation. He earned his Bachelor's degree at the University of Arizona, and has been FINRA certified in series 7, 24, 63 and 65. Mr. Thompson enjoys snowboarding, hockey and traveling in his free time.
Michael Aufmann is a Managing Director, Execution Services, at Wedbush Securities. Mr. Aufmann joined Wedbush in August 2016, after serving as Global Head of Listed Derivatives Sales at Trading Screen. Prior to Trading Screen, he spent almost eight years at UBS Investment Bank, as their Executive Director, Head of North American Electronic Futures Executions, after starting off in Etrading. He also spent nine years at ABN AMRO as Senior Vice President, Global Head of Futures Execution, before heading to UBS. He currently holds his Series 3, 7, 30, and 63 licenses. Mr. Aufmann was a member of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange for 25 years, and is a current member of the Futures Industry Association.
