Los Angeles, CA – December 1, 2016 – Wedbush Securities is pleased to announce the promotion of Sean Scanlon to Senior Vice President, Head of Operations. Located in Wedbush Securities Los Angeles headquarters, Sean will implement process simplification, performance improvements, risk reduction, business alignment, and talent management. His leadership will drive efficiencies in security processing, technology and other corporate functions and will determine key areas for innovation as the company continues to make progress in creating consistently efficient and effective procedures. In this new role he will also continue serving as Middle Office Manager.
Sean began his tenure at Wedbush in 2013 as Project Manager and in June of 2014, he was assigned to manage the newly developed Middle Office functions at the company. Along with his time at Wedbush, his previous roles as IT Project Manager at Calyon Securities USA Inc./Credit Agricole Securities USA, and OTC Sales Trading at Traditional Asiel Securities, has firmly established Sean as a leader in building, maintaining and improving process, performance, and risk reduction.
